Roswell’s Trilogy Trolley Crawl 2010

August 17, 2010 by Pam Salls

This Saturday, August 21st is the 2nd annual Trilogy Trolley Crawl in Historic Roswell.  If you missed this event last year, it was extremely successful.  This event offers a limited number of tickets and last years event was sold out.  The ticket price of $40 covers admission into all three of Roswell’s famed historic homes; Barrington Hall, Bulloch Hall and Smith Plantation.  Ticket price also includes one drink ticket and three mini-sampler plate food tickets.  Six trolleys will transport guests from home to home.  Parking is available at each site with extra parking at the First Baptist Church on Mimosa.  The event will run from 7-11:30 p.m.

Experience Historic Roswell’s Inc Restaurant

August 6, 2010 by Pam Salls

If you haven’t visited Roswell’s Inc, be sure to give it a try.  I met some of my friends there recently and was pleasantly surprised by not only the décor but mostly the wonderful food.  Located right on Canton Street in the heart of the Historic district, Inc is housed just a couple doors down from site fave Salt Factory.

Known for its street food, which is basically a Latin menu, Inc is taking flight in our small quaint town.  The décor will grab you right when you walk in.  Graffiti with the names of Latin American cities misspelled all over the walls, lots of bright colors and a really hip vibe.  The kitchen operates out of a replica of a street cart, or otherwise known to big city dwellers as roach coaches.  I digress….

The Fabulous Fox

July 24, 2010 by Pam Salls

If you ever want to venture outside the Roswell city limits, why not take a guided tour of the Fabulous Fox in downtown Atlanta?  Yesterday, my BFF and I went on a guided tour of the theater and had a wonderful time.  The tour was led by an Atlanta Preservation Center volunteer and he gave us all the details of the rough beginnings of the now famous theater.

Roswell’s Premiere Dog Park

June 6, 2010 by Pam Salls

With all of the late afternoon pop up showers we’ve been having this week, today would be a great day to take your best friend to Roswell’s off-leash dog park for a little exercise and socializing.

Located at 1355 Woodstock Road in front of the Leila Thompson Arts Center, your pooch has an acre to burn off some energy.  Equipped with a section for larger dogs, there is also a section for smaller dogs under 25 pounds.  Dual gated entry comes in handy for those who want to make a break for it and water fountains for both humans and their fur children.
