Two Opportunities for Tax-Free Shopping in Georgia

Hi Roswell shoppers!  There are three days left for tax-free shopping.  The Georgia Sales Tax Free Shopping days started yesterday and runs through Sunday, August 2, 2009.  Shoppers can buy school supplies, clothing, footwear and computers without paying state tax.

The limits for 2009 are as follows:

v    Clothing under $100

v    Computers and computer equipment under $1,500

v    School supplies under $20

Also, from October 1^st through the 4^th, shoppers can buy water and energy efficient products costing up to $1,500.  This tax exemption is for noncommercial home or personal use only.
